What are the benefits of using espresso pods?

1. Espresso pods save the time that would normally be taken measuring, grinding, and packing the coffee.

2. Pods provide the exact amount of ground coffee per serving, pre-pressed.

3. Pods produce consistent shots, no matter who is preparing the espresso.

4. There is less wasted product when pods are used. Since they are pre-packaged, no grounds are spilled in preparation and it is impossible to use too much coffee.

5. The machine and the working area are kept clean of coffee grounds and mess.

6. Coffee grounds and filter paper are environmentally friendly and disposable.

7. A wide variety of brands are available to choose from in varying price ranges.

The S5 EK and EP 2 and 3 group machines can be ordered in a separate model type with a milk thermister, a temperature sensor for frothing milk.

The milk thermister replaces the right steam arm with a single button control for steaming milk. The steam temperature is adjustable through an external control knob, allowing the user to set the temperature the milk reaches before frothing is complete. Once the preset temperature has been reached, the thermister senses the temperature of the milk and will shut off automatically. The milk thermister thus produces consistent froth and milk temperature.
